Steve is a Co-Founder of Paridae and Co-Chair of the Paridae Leaders groups. He is a CEO and Executive Coach and Chair of Governors. He is passionate about helping CEOs, Executive Teams, and organisations achieve their goals for healthy, high performance.

Sharon Curry

Sharon, Co-Founder of Paridae and Co-Chair of the Paridae Leaders Groups, is a CEO and Executive Coach, and an Innovation and Creativity expert. With a distinguished 35-year career, including service as a Naval Officer, she brings a unique approach to leadership, team performance and business innovation, both nationally and internationally. Sharon excels in creating trustworthy work environments that drive sustainable success. Working with demanding clients across various sectors, she is passionate about fostering high-performance cultures through executive coaching, strategic relationship management, and 'future of leadership' development

Julie Jamieson

Julie has enjoyed so far a 30-year career in the professional services industry and has worked nationally and internationally with successful business leaders and organisations, providing sales, recruitment, and outsourcing solutions. In recent years, her focus has been on creating vibrant communities of CEOs and Business Leaders who believe in growth and sustainable leadership of the future. Julie is passionate about further developing our successful Paridae Leaders Community, helping us to identify potential new members and bringing together the quality and diversity that we strive for. Her extensive experience and ability to identify growth opportunity make her and invaluable asset to the team.

Bev McCann

Bev is an experienced Information Security Officer having worked extensively in the hospital and health care Industry. She is skilled in IT Management, NHS Strategy and Programme Delivery and Change Management. Bev leads on the efficient delivery of Paridae processes both within the team, externally with our valued stakeholders, and with our Paridae Leaders groups.

What's in a name?

Paridae is a word given to a family of birds within the order Passeriformes, including species like chickadees, tits, and cardinals. The name resonated with us for two key reasons:

Adaptability, Intelligence & Collaboration – Just like these birds, the organisations and leaders we work with thrive on adaptability, intelligence, and complex interactions.
Teams in Transition – We often support leaders and/or their teams facing challenges or change, and the idea of calling ourselves by the acronym for 'Teams in Transition' of course made us smile. Our curiosity led us to the bird family name, and Paridae was born.

By combining Paridae with our leadership philosophy, CMD, we shaped not just our name, but our identity, approach, and digital presence. We chose the Cardinal on the left of our logo for it's vibrant red colour and the Phoenix on the right? Wiki states 'The Phoenix is an immortal bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again', basically emerging from the ashes of it's predecessor. It is represented on this website by the imagery of the Phoenix tree and flower (Delonix regia) and refers to constant change and opportunity for growth that transition brings.
